Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Statement

I am committed to providing a counselling service that is welcoming, inclusive and respectful of every individual.

I believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, professional support, regardless of their age, disability, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, relationship status, family circumstances, neurodiversity or socio-economic background.

My aim is to create a safe, accepting and non-judgemental space where children, young people, young adults and parents feel heard, valued and respected for who they are.

I recognise that each person's experiences and identity are unique, and I strive to work in a culturally sensitive and person-centred way, adapting my approach where appropriate to meet individual needs. Where reasonable adjustments can help make counselling more accessible, I will always seek to discuss these with you.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions and am committed to treating everyone with dignity, fairness and respect.

If you have any questions about accessibility, inclusion or the support I offer, please feel free to get in touch before your first appointment. I will be happy to discuss how I may be able to meet your individual needs.
